The numerous recent acts that destroy human life, especially in its innocence, call us again to join Christ in His prayer that “all may be one.”

We have seen senseless acts of violence arise anew, adding pain onto pain in these past few years and months. The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement around the world join in sorrow and solemn prayer for the victims and first responders, as well as for their families and communities.

We, the Friars of the Atonement, with one voice condemn these and all acts of violence around the world and call for all Christians and people of faith and goodwill to join together in praying for hope, healing and harmony.
