Fr. Tom Orians, SA, was a participant and speaker during Monday’s “The New Year Interfaith Prayer for World Peace.” The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement were founding members of the Interfaith Prayer Day and have participated in this annual service for 20 years.
Held at the Great Buddha Hall, the events included representatives and leaders from religious communities of all faiths: Buddhism, Catholic, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Bahai. Guests also included local government officials.
