About Fr. Robert Langone, SA
Elected 4th Councilor in 2019, and currently serves as Pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church in Toronto. Father Langone served as Parochial Vicar at Christ the Redeemer in Sterling, Virginia, after working in the sacramental and pastoral ministry of Chapel of Our Savior in Brockton, Massachusetts. He had previously worked as Associate Pastor at Christ the Redeemer in the late 1990s to 2000. He is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Telecommunications and Advertising and later attended Catholic University of America. After entering the community in 1982, he received his habit in 1983 and took his Final Vows in 1988. He was ordained at Graymoor on July 1, 1989. In addition to his parish work, he has served as Assistant Director to the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center. At a Memorial Service at Graymoor on the second anniversary of the devastating attacks of 9/11, Father Langone said, “We must look first to our hearts to make sure peace reigns in our hearts. It if reigns there, we can bring peace to the world.”
