Deacon Thomas J. Malone Jr., TSA

Deacon Thomas J. Malone Jr., TSA joined the Tertiaries of the Society of the Atonement (TSA) ad experimentum in January of 2020. Deacon Tommy has volunteered, serving at both the Cancer Care Unit and Pastoral Care at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y. and in Pastoral Care at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y. He is involved with the Marriage Ministry – Pre-Cana and FOCCUS, at St. Raymond of Penyafort in East Rockaway, NY.

Deacon Tommy has his B.S. from Hofstra University (Hempstead, N.Y.) and an M.A. from Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, N.Y). He also has a Master’s degree in Pastoral Care from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception. He was ordained to the Order of Permanent Deacons in 2010.

Tommy and his wife of forty-nine years, Marianne, who passed away in 2019, have two sons.
