The Friars of the Atonement celebrated the 2020 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25) and its theme of “unusual kindness” on the Holy Mountain of Graymoor and at their parishes and ministries worldwide.
During a celebration of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the Friars honored the hometown of Servant of God Fr. Paul Wattson, SA, with a gift of a statue of Our Lady of the Atonement.
Beginning in 2020, Ecumenical Trends will be published bi-monthly (for a total of 6 issues per year, instead of 11 issues), with each issue made more substantial than in the past.
On January 25, 2020, Pope Francis ended the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, an initiative rooted in the efforts of Servant of God Fr. Paul Wattson, SA, with an ecumenical prayer service in Rome.

On October 9th, His Eminence Nathanael Symeonides presented The Ecumenical Value of Reflection on Moral Discernment at the annual Paul Wattson Lecture in Chicago.
