Graymoor to Screen Dorothy Day Movie as Part of New Film Program
The Holy Mountain Franciscan Retreat Center recently added a film festival program, which will begin on Friday, October 21. The first film slated to be screened is “Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story.” The film will be shown between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Graymoor library on the fifth floor of the main building. The cost is $25 to attend and includes lunch.
Graymoor Padre Pio Celebration a Success, Will Grow in Coming Years
The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement held their first-ever Celebration of Padre Pio on Saturday, September 24 at Graymoor, welcoming around 100 pilgrims to the Holy Mountain. Festivities included a Mass celebrated in Italian by Minister General Father Brian Terry, SA, and a blessing of the Friars’ new statue of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina.

St. John’s Atonement Seminary Alumni Revel in Reunion
St. John’s alumni from various classes attended a reunion, including past students from Father Emil’s graduating class of 1962. The weekend featured plenty of reminiscing, a tour of the Graymoor grounds and Mass at St. Francis Chapel, among other activities.
