St. Anthony of Padua is cherished by the Society of Atonement and people worldwide for the wondrous miracles God worked through him. To honor the life of a fellow Franscian, please join us at one of Graymoor’s most revered landmarks, St. Anthony’s Shrine, on June 9 to celebrate Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Over the years, thousands of people have flocked to Graymoor to commemorate St. Anthony on his feast day. We hope you can join us and others from around the world on this day of prayer and pilgrimage.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. (EDT) at the Atonement Chapel and celebrated again in Creole at 1:30 p.m. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered to visitors at multiple stations on-site. Guests are encouraged to purchase and light candles near St. Anthony’s Grotto and visit Graymoor’s other chapels and shrines.
Throughout the day, Friars will be available to offer up any prayer intentions or blessings requested by visitors. Religious items, such as rosaries, medals, and crosses, will be sold at the Book and Gift Center and the Thrift Store if visitors wish to have items blessed.
