The Atonement charism of reconciliation with God, others and self is recognized in many ways.
Among them are the Friars’ ecumenical and social ministries, as well as peace building and seeking unity in the midst of adversity.
Brother Paolo Nicosia, SA, discussed these points and much more in a recent interview with the Engaging Franciscan Wisdom podcast, in an episode titled, “Building Peace Wherever We Are: From Assisi to the World.”
Speaking to podcast host Sister Michelle L’Allier, Brother Paolo elegantly shared stories of healing and reconciliation. He also offered practical principles and skills to strengthen our own abilities to be peacemakers in our day and age.
Brother Paolo professed his final vows at the Church of St. Mary Major in Assisi, Italy on September 15, 2020. He is the Guardian and Postulant Director of the Friars’ Formation House in Assisi.
Sister Michelle hosts the Engaging Franciscan Wisdom podcast. She is a Franciscan sister of Little Falls, Minnesota – a Roman Catholic congregation of religious women of the Third Order of St. Francis of Assisi.
The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls dedicate themselves to living joyfully through the Franciscan values of conversion, contemplation, poverty and minority.
Sister Michelle’s podcast centers around reflection and conversation, inspired by the work of St. Francis and St. Clare.
