Regional Minister, Pastor of St. Joseph Parish
Father Joseph Hiramatsu, SA, was born Tatsumi Hiramatsu in Nagasaki, Japan. He began his postulancy in Japan in 1966, received his habit in April 1978 and took his final vows in 1982. He studied with the Jesuits at Sophia University in Tokyo earning degrees in Philosophy and Theology. He was ordained at St. Joseph Church, Tsurumi, Japan in October of 1982. He is Regional Minister, Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Tsurumi and Director of Catholic Atonement Center, and he serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph School in Tsurumi
