This past Saturday on behalf of the Franciscan, Friars, Sisters, Tertiaries and Affiliates of the Society of the Atonement, Father Ken Cienik, SA, welcomed Archbishop Henning to the Chapel of Our Savior in Brockton, MA. The day of this visit was made even more special and symbolic, as February 8 is the day the Friars of the Atonement commemorate the passing of Fr. Paul Wattson, SA to eternal life.

“Our service goes beyond our chapel doors to the local parishes of the Vicariate, and in a special way to our Catholic Nursing home, St. Joseph’s Manor, represented by the pastoral care team. Archbishop Henning, we are very honored and grateful that during this Jubilee Year of Hope you included us in your Pastoral Visit to our Vicariate as we continue to pray for the cause of the canonization of our founder, the Servant of God, Fr. Paul Wattson and we assure you of our most sincere prayers and support.” – Fr. Ken.

Joining Fr. Ken was V. Rev. Emil Tomaskovic, SA, as well as a former Minister General Father Jim Puglisi, SA, Fr. David Poirier, SA and our Tertiaries: Tom Grimsley, TSA Scott Boyd, TSA and Paul Roach, TSA.
