Have you ever experienced closeness with God while on retreat, but then that dissipates as soon as you return to the demands of real life?

In an ecumenical tradition, this day of prayer and meditation visiting each of the Holy Mountain chapels culls the teachings from the first five books of the Bible (the Pentateuch, the Torah) and offers daily reflections for each verse in order to put them into practice.

Our first meditation is the Nativity – the Gospel stories woven into one narrative with classical art portraying each scene and toned with Christmas music.

This Advent pilgrimage on the grounds of the Holy Mountain – visiting the chapels and contemplating the crèches – centers us in the preparation season for Christmas. December weather can vary, so please bring warm apparel and raingear if necessary.
