Graymoor
Spiritual Life Center
Since their first retreat facilities were opened in 1970, the
Franciscan Friars of the Atonement have offered people of all
faiths and walks of life the chance to slow down, have a space
apart, get in touch with themselves, and look for the spirit

Christopher's Inn
St. Christopher's Inn, located at Graymoor, is temporary home
to more than 1,200 men each year. Since 1908, the Inn has served
thousands of men 18 years and older, many of whom are homeless.

Joseph's Rehabilitation Center
The ministry at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center, located
in Saranac Lake, New York, began in 1971. Often referred to
as "the last chance," St. Joseph's has developed a
successful program with a recovery rate that is the envy of

part of the Friar's training, which is supported by charitable
donations, some Friars receive advanced level education
in alcoholism and substance abuse counseling, social work, nursing,
and other professions critical to carrying out their helping
missions.
